This scheme is invited from intending ST (P) candidates for Financial Assistance under the scheme “Financial Assistance to ST (P) students for coaching for getting admission into Medical/Engineering/IIT/etc.” for the concerned year. Applicants who have appeared/passed 10+2 examination and undergoing/completed (in last one year) coaching for appearing Medical/Engineering/IIT etc entrance examination may apply in the prescribed format given by our Directorate at the time of advertisement along with all the relevant documents to the Director, Welfare of Plain Tribes and Backward Classes, Assam, Rukmini Nagar, Guwahati-6 within the concerned date positively, if he/she fulfils the following.

            All applications received by the Director, Welfare of Plain Tribes and Backward Classes, Assam will be placed before the Selection Committee which will scrutinize the same and approve the list of beneficiaries on the basis of Merit list generated based on the percentage acquired in Matriculation Examination. There will be no income limit for availing this benefit.
